I seem to have this problem that my brain likes to ruminate on things that either aren't true or aren't helpful. I've seen it called "monkey mind" before and let's just say that my monkey goes wild if I'm not careful.
It takes consistent mental rewiring for me to remember that I'm ok, I don't have to be perfect, and I can let go of things I can't control.
I decided to print out some uplifting words of inspiration to help me with this rewiring process and it has honestly really helped me.
Anytime I feel frustrated, sad, confused, overwhelmed, and upset for whatever reason, I go to my little stack of inspo cards and find the ones that seem to be the most helpful at the moment. It's kind of a way to calm and ground my mind.
